A night time skin routine is essential for clear, healthy skin, to remove the day?s dirt and grime and treat the skin with essential products to help restore it while you sleep. Here?s our guide to the ideal night time skin routine.

Cleanse thoroughly. It is so important to cleanse your skin every night with a good cleanser before you go to bed, to remove the make-up, dirt and grime that has accumulated on your skin throughout the day. If you don?t cleanse your skin at night, it will become dull, dry, irritated and inflamed. It is best to double-cleanse to ensure all traces of dirt and make-up are removed.

Treatment time. After cleansing, apply a treatment oil or serum that is targeted towards your skin?s particular needs. Richer oils that may not be suitable for day use are perfect for night, as you won?t be applying your make-up on top of it. Your skin will drink it up!

Hydration hit. As well as richer treatment oils, you should opt for a moisturiser designed for night-time use, as these tend to be thicker formulas that provide an intense hydration hit for the skin. Massage the moisturiser into your skin after applying your treatment products.

Get a good night?s sleep. Nothing helps your skin like a good night?s sleep! Lack of sleep can cause dark under-eye circles and a dull, dry complexion, so try to go to bed at a decent hour to catch those all important Zzzzzzz?s.
