Protect your skin on a long-haul flight
Question: How can I look after my skin during a long-haul flight?
Answer: While jetting off to an exotic location is exciting, the long-haul flight that gets you there can take its toll on your skin thanks to the dehydrating atmosphere of the plane.
Here?s our guide to arriving at your destination fresh-faced.
1. Going bare-faced may not appeal to most, but ditching the make-up will do wonders for your skin while you fly.
2. A facial spritz is your skin?s best friend on a flight; either a floral water or just plain water will do nicely. Spritz your face often throughout the flight and allow it to absorb into the skin, to keep it hydrated and healthy.
3. Take a rich moisturiser on board (remember to decant into a 100ml bottle to pass boarding regulations) – the Claudia Louch Natural Skin Clinic Hydrating Mango Face Cream is ideal for this. Slather it on liberally and leave it on your skin for 15 minutes to act as a hydrating face mask, before massaging the remaining moisturiser into the skin.
4. Hydrate from within by drinking lots of water ? keep a bottle at hand and sip it periodically throughout your flight.
